In the pre-independence era, Mohammed Ali Dilawer established a small savoury store in the heart of south Mumbai. This savory store gradually evolved into an exclusive Bohra Thaal Catering service known as M.Dilawer Caterers.

Murtuza Shabbir Dilawer at a young age joined his father Mulla Shabbir M. Dilawer in his inherited business.

Murtuza Shabbir Dilawer later established the famous and much acclaimed Al-Taam Caterers in 2007. We reached the epitome of Bohra catering under Al- Taam caterers. Now after 14 years, by the grace of his holiness Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin (TUS) who has bestowed us with this name, we have ventured back into time and brought forth the legacy – Dilawer caterers.
